i'm so scared my husband still has not found work, our savings is almost gone, i'm so scared, i try to keep positive but i drop my mood to ground zero in a second when reality hits again, sorry haven't been on much i hope everyone is doing o.k. just venting thanks

Sorry to hear things are still rough for you Machelle. I hope things turn for the better soon. I know the market for work is tough. But try to keep your spirits up.

(((Machelle))) I know the employment situation is kinda bleak right now. Hang in there things will get better soon. Feel free to come here and talk to us, we are always here for you. I will keep you and hubby in my prayers.

we had so many down times and we just payed off our credit cards and we have two truck notes and a house note and utilitys and meds so on, i am loosing hope i can see any hope anymore, i pray and hope the phone will ring but it never does, i don't want to loose everything, it will send to a all time low

I'm not sure about your health situation. Or the area you live in but here is some ideas.

But can you take up babysitting? How about checking into your local area for hosting parties? Maybe dog walking. House sitting.

What I mean by hosting parties. Contact a local chandler, tuberware, etc. Host a party invite family, friends etc. The "Host" gets a cut of all sales.
I have seen some very successful parties where the host got well over 300 bucks for a few hours worth of work. I will be doing some of these in my area. Looking for people to host my parties. They will get a % of all sales and a 30 dollar gift basket. And anyone who comes to me after the party and says "HOST" sent me to you. The host will also receive profit from those sales.

Hopefully something comes through and soon for you.

I haven't found work either. Hopefully, your husband's been more diligent about looking than I have. My health has kept me from looking too hard.

Congrats on paying off the credit cards!! Keep the cards paid off.

Can your husband take any job for now? I know it's embarrassing for him but any amount of money would no doubt help. You can call your mortgage company and see what help they can give you. Maybe sell one of the trucks?

Can your parents or his offer any financial help? Try to remember that a lot of people are in the same boat. It's not easy, it's depressing, but things will get better!!

my husband still has no job has been a month almost , my little ones are out of school so i have to be here, and no relatives to watch them, i am so scared, why us, we always have bad luck, i know all of you too have had bad times too, but if you can send prayers i sure need them

I hope it all works out. My husband still has no job and we now are staying outdoors/barn until we get the small money we got from our equity in our house buys us a used trailer. The barn has electricity and internet! Yay Me! I have to admit though no bills and only a $500 a month land note is going to be nice. Our house note was over $2000 a month but we found a buyer! It sucks to have an expensive house! I have been trying to work things out with my anxiety and severe ADHD. I am a good person though.

I don't have a job yet, either. Call your mtg. company and the banks that you pay for the vehicles and let them know about the situation. Sometimes they'll work with you. I'm sure they don't want the house as it won't sell, anyway. They will lose money either way.

Can you sell one of the trucks? Your husband may have to travel to other cities looking for work (if he hasn't already). I know what you mean about bad luck. But we have to stay positive and keep praying. Hang in there!!
