Blessed
I have been in your shoes way to often in the past 26 years but I refuse to give up and I do not want to see you give up either. Together with this great group you will make it through this bad time.
Try not to get caught up in the "stinkin thinkin", stop the thoughts from spinning in your head. Visualize a red stop sign in your mind when you encounter these fear provoking thoughts. When the negative thoughts come, think of a red stop sign that serves as a reminder to stop focusing on that thought and to think of something else. You can then try to think of something positive to replace the negative thought.
Learn to take it one day at a time. Instead of worrying about how you will get through the rest of the week or coming month, try to focus on today. Each day can provide us with different opportunities to learn new things and that includes learning how to deal with your anxiety. Focus on the present and stop trying to predict what may happen next week. Next week will take care of itself. Stop those spinning thoughts and believe that you will be OK.
I am glad you have your appointments next week but for now just stay in the moment and take it one tiny step at a time. Just keep on moving forward. Accept the anxiety for what it is then kick it to the curb my new friend.
We are all here for you.
Gentle Hugs
