So here I am thinking I have my anxiety under control, geesh was I wrong!! Today I had to followup with my dr. had an ultrasound done on my left ovary since I had a hysterectomy 3 years ago they only kept the left ovary, so I go in for my results and she tells me I have a  complex cyst on my ovary and that she will have to refer me to the gyn at another hosptial since she cant do anything to that matter.. :( So to add to my anxiety she had a lab order in the computer for CA-125 to check for ovarian cancer, she stated that a good percentage of complex cyst can be cancerous so she wanted to rule it out! Geesh, bad enough I am dealing with anxiety... Thanks for letting me vent...

Good Morning and you just vent away all you want.  You have the right to be upset when you hear you may have something wrong but remember to stay in the moment and not let the news send you into a spiral of anxiety.

For now just let go of the thoughts of any cancer and wait for you CA-125 results.  I am hoping they will be just fine and you are looking at a benign cyst. :-)

Go out and do something nice just for you,  splurge a bit, pamper yourself but be good to you.  Waiting is hard so keep busy and know you can always come here and talk to us.

Ditto, vent on!  That would be enough to send anyone into panic.  But as said above lets just think positive that all is well.  Keeping your mind occupied is a very good suggestion.  I hope all works out OK.

Hi i have a long history of ovarian cysts and all have been benign. Im sure this will be the same for you but i understand your fear in this situation. We are here to help and encourage you so please let us know how your results go and no matter what, dont give in to the negative thoughts- what they are doing is a precaution.

Thanks for the positive thoughts I need them right now!! Since I live half way across the world away from my friends and family!! Yall are the greatest!!
