How long does Klonopin usually take to start working? Also, what is the typical dose for moderate anxiety?
Thanks

Hi.
Well, I can only feel Klonopin working if I am extremely anxious. During those times I feel it working about
an hour after taking it. It's not a drug that will provide you with immediate relief. Instead it's intended to be taken on a regular basis. With its long half-life, taking it twice a day should maintain some of the drug in your system at all times, hopefully reducing your anxiety level.
.5 milligrams taken twice a day is the recommended dosage for anxiety and panic disorders. I'm not 100 percent certain but I believe that the .5 mg tablet is the smallest single dose available, though the tablet is scored.
