This happens to me. Monday I felt awesome, and after Tuesday it all went downhill. Can you think of anything that has triggered you? What helps me is writing down everything I'm feeling, and every thought - no matter how weird it may sound. Writing out and putting your emotions and everything on paper maps out what you're feeling, and if you do this regularly you can be able to find a pattern. For me, I discovered my cell phone and Facebook caused me more stress, so I'm using my phone less and I shut down my Facebook. I felt like people being able to contact me 24/7 made me feel caged in; plus, the angry messages from ex friends didn't help.
about disconnected - how do you feel disconnected exactly? Do you feel numb? Or disconnected from the world? Those are both common when I'm going through anxiety. It's all about focusing on yourself and finding out your triggers, and how to work around them or cut them out of your life.
Life is trial and error, so we all have situations like this. Just don't lose faith, and even when you feel scared, tell yourself that you're not afraid, that you will make it through this. After telling yourself that for so long, I've learned your mind starts to believe it.
