Anybody else here ever experience problems swallowing? I know it is related to my anxiety and it only happens intermittently. My anxiety level is very high today and I just tried to eat dinner but was having difficulty swallowing. I've tried to calm down but nothing is working and this just sucks because I am so hungry!

I get the feeling that something is stuck in my throat as well. As annoying as that can be, I can deal with it, but this not being able to swallow is really annoying.

I have that problem and find that it means I am eating too fast due to chronic anxiety. My solution is to slow down and drink more water.
This can develop into a larger problem where the water will not help and you end up throwing it up. Treat this carefully.

Thank you for the responses. Now that you mention it, eating too fast could have been contributing. I was doing much better today and took my time and was able to eat! I'm going to check out that other thread as well. Thanks again!
