Hi fd and welcome! (again) I am glad that you started your own post, so that we can get to know you better:)
You are not alone in your anxiety, or how it got triggered. Many members have started to struggle with A/P after a significant illness. I am sure that you will hear from others who have similar stories.
You are trying to deal with a lot right now. Sometimes we don't realize just how overwhelming life is, as it is happening all around us everyday. From what I see though, you have/had the pressure of being away at school, working, being unwell, taking medications, dealing with anxiety, and starting/getting acclimated to a new prescription.
That is more than enough to trigger some stress, so first off, acknowledge that it is pretty understandable that you are having anxiety issues. Now that is not to say that you have to live with them! What other methods do you plan on trying to get some relief?
If I could suggest some ideas...Therapy is a great long-term solution-especially CBT. Also reading up on A/P and treatment is really crucial. I read just about every book at my library, and then purchased some workbooks, to get educated. Visit our Anxiety Resource Guide here (3rd post main page) to get some links to great sites that teach self-guided anxiety busters!
Of course posting here is also a great step to healing. We have all felt the same way, and can understand and encourage each other like no one else can:)
I hope that you find this place as helpful as I have. Post often!
