Sound familiar? Does anyone else have these symptoms? Here's a little history on me...
I'm a 41 year old male, 6'0, 225lbs. I have a bit of stress in my life and tend to exhibit signs of anxiety and/or panic disorder. I had an SVT (Supra Ventricular Tachychardia) in January of this year. Did the cardio stress echo tests and they came back clear. Just got scoped from both ends yesterday...removed two small polyps and had biopsies from the stomach and duodenum. Waiting for the results of the biopsies.
My pain typically is located in one of two or three specific spots on my left chest. Most of the time it's located about three-four fingers above the nipple line and about two-three fingers from the center of my chest. Other times it will be in the left arm pit toward the front or slightly below the crease of the arm. Pain in both of these locations is not a radiant pain. It's kind of like a pulse or a pinging. Not extremely painful, but definitely annoying and cause for anxiety (in my mind). I can usually identify the location of the pain with one finger tip. Additionally, I sometimes have palpitations associated with the pain along with a lot of belching. The pain on the back is not as bad or as often and mimics the pain in the chest. Sometimes I get the sensation that there is some tingling or mild numbness on the chest, into the neck area and tightness in the jaw. Also, just to add to the mix, I sometimes feel a fluttering sensation in the center of my chest near/under my sternum and sometimes a slight pain just to the left of it under my ribs. And final addition, I'm on Diltiazem, Lisinopril, Omeprazole, and Allopurinol daily.
Can anyone relate? I'm a nervous wreck. It's affecting my work, my sanity, and most importantly my family. Please share your thoughts, treatments, diagnosis, anything.
Thanks
