H&S, I hate to hear you sounding so miserable:( Please. please forgive me if I sound like a broken record, but remind me, if you have tried seeking therapy. (I talk to many people regarding this, so I'm sorry if I've already asked you this.)
It it true that life and relationships can be, well, 'sucky'. We can't change that, so the only place to go from there is to change how we deal with what is surrounding us. We can face our challenges in a better, stronger, more positive way...or we can continue to feel awful. In some ways, it becomes a choice...we can't choose every circumstance in life, but we can choose how we are going to deal with it.
Everyone gets down sometimes, but if it is getting hard to get back up, at some point you need to get pro-active. Seeking help either with a therapist, or on-line is a good start.
We have two good links that we have positve results with here:
www.Moodgym.anu.edu.au/welcome
and
Ecouch
The links are in the Anxiety Resource Guide (3rd post main page)
Please consider getting in touch with a therapist who offers CBT, or giving one of the on-line helps a try. There's nothing to lose, you can only gain, I promise.
