anxiety starts up no matter what

Cant seem to get my anxiety to calm down the last three days, it has been bad no matter what i do. and the hot weather outside isnt helping, cant really take a walk when its in the upper 90s all week. try to stay busy and clean and stuff but theres only so much to do.  it really affects everything in my life.

I am glad you feel comfortable venting here in the forum. I do hope you try some of the suggestions members have posted to you on your previous threads.

Yeah, sometimes it goes in waves like that...a few days in a row of bad symptoms. Use your tools and tough it out as best you can. It will ease up eventually.

Remember you had a recent move in your life, and that is a big deal. Big changes, even postive ones can bring on added anxiety. Give yourself some time to adjust:)

Like Kitt said, pull from the good info here, and the things that you know work for you when the going gets rough. You'll be allright.

Gene ,all I have to say about anxiety is eww. I have the same problem too hot to do anything so all I think about is the anxiety :o im 16 I should be thinking about boys and food and the beach like other teens uhhg I can't take it I do hope we both have happy endings to this something that helps me is looking forward to something in the future me and my mom are going out to a relatives for lunch tomorrow and since I don't really suffer from Agrophobia I am super excited what do you have to look forward to ??

I was going to post about the heat/anxiety myself today. I also like to go out for a walk or a bike ride but it is too hot!!! I even went into Target thinking it would help,thinking the coolness might help but the lights/patterns everywhere just made me feel worse!! I remember my very first panic attack was in the summer on a very hot day, I wonder if my mind subconsciously associates the two somehow.

I look forward to the simple things in life now. Time with friends and family is priceless to me. I enjoy just sitting outside, taking a nice walk, laughing and smiling cause that what gets my mind off of being sick and thinking about it 2 much. I hope to one day be able to fully enjoy life and not worry about every little thing and get healthy again. I got to take it one day at a time cause thats all i have. I pray that i could wake up one day and be healed, but until that day comes i have to stay strong and keep fighting.

Congratulations - you sound a lot better and it feels to me like you are headed in the right direction.

Each individuals journey through life is unique and fluid, always remaining a work in progress   Along our unique journey's we encounter bumps in the road, some larger than others.

It is helpful to gain perspective and admirable to ask for help when we need it. I hope you know we are all here for you and when you happen to hit a bump in the road you will get over it.  You have much strength and I believe in you.

Good attitude hurtandscared!

Enjoying the basics as you stated in the beginning is not a bad thing. All the things sound good and comforting to me. I think everything you said is very positive and you should refer back to it when you find yourself struggling. With that kind of outlook and attitude...mixed in with some destressing techniques....no reason to think that you can't make this much  better. Eliminate it altogether or at least very tolerable. Keep it up and have a wonderful weekend!!

Tinlou,I have the same problems with light and light patterns when my anxiety is high.Do you know the reason why? When my anxiety is high lights really bother me I become real sensitive lights and sounds are so intense.This is my first time posting not sure if i did it right?

Have had a few setbacks this weekend, have had attack after attack and its wearing me out. They come out of no where and scare me. I havent been able to breathe out of my nose in 4 months, and that doesnt help me during attacks. Trying to stay positive and upbeat, very hard rite now.

I know that feeling all to well.I am anxious all the time, panic attacks have been terrible.Do you take meds?I always feel like I can't breathe right.Does anyone use the chat?

Yeah im on zoloft and ativan, but my doctor is taking me off the ativan cause she says its addictive. Im not looking forward to that at all.
