The only people I know personally that have been on TV are my daughter, and granddaughters - and it was noon news from the state fair.

 Ok, no laughing......I have been told that i look like Monica Liwinski (spell)   and Liza Minelli....I still have the dark long hair.  Too long for my age but i don't have to use any dye yet.

If I post the series name, I will lose my anonymity. There are only two women in the series. Sorry I can't be more obliging. Dessert tonight is chocolate mousse layered between gluten-free chocolate cake and covered in chocolate ganache, sprinkled with fresh organic rasberries. I love making mousse. Just think of me making it for everyone on our island...

I am one of those weird people who get blisters on my hands and feet from eating wheat. Back when I still had a large intestine wheat would cause intestinal bleeding. I tested negative for celiac disease. Now that I don't have a large intestine, I can eat wheat as long as I take a sublingual antihistamine first.
As to tuiles...I have never made them. Great suggestion! I like to try new recipes.
It took a little research to find a lacy tuile recipe. Most tuiles look like the roof tiles on an old french mansion. Tuile means tile in French. They can also be shaped into little ice cream cones or flame sculptures. The only lacy tuile recipes I could find were in an old Martha Stewart cookbook. The ingredient difference is less butter and adding light corn syrup. There is an Austrian cookie that also fits your description. It uses almond flour instead of wheat flour and is rolled into a 1/2" wide tube. My children love them on ice cream.
I suspect I had a large family just so I would have a lot of hungry people!
