Hi Rem, I know what you mean regarding the 'before and after' feeling. I too struggled with this for awhile after my anxiety started. I think that it is mostly our perception that fuels this. In other words, it is an internal feeling that we, or our lives, have radically changed.
No one even nocticed that I was suffering anxiety, unless I chose to tell them. I, on the other hand, thought that I, and my world had turned upside down!
I think that it would be impossible to go through something like this and not feel changed. It is a natural reaction. It doesn't have to be nagative however.
Life is full of change...good, bad and indifferent. Try to look at this as just a change, or stage in your life. You are getting the help that you need which is great! Try to view this as moving on to a new phase in your life, and nothing more:)
I hope that this was helpful, I know that it is different for everyone, but when I went through this, these thoughts helped me to cope. Keep posting and let us know how you are doing soon.
