Hey everyone, well tommorrow is the day...I see the specialist at 11.30am....they just rang to confirm the appointment..... smhair I'm a bit anxious about it I won't lie but I also want to get it over with too...these last 11 days have been hard, but not as hard as I thought they would be..thank you to everyone who has supported me thru the last couple of weeks, I'm going to stay positive , say a little prayer before I walk in there and I'm sure it's going to be ok....I hope.....I will put a post up once I get my results....please keep me in your thoughts and prayers for tommorrow ok.....hugs to you all your friend shannon.... :-)

Absolutely! Here are big hugs as well as prayers going out to you for tomorrow's appointment. I do believe that everything is going to be totally fine. Great job on getting through the past week and a half...I know that it was hard to wait!

Take your breathing/relaxation skills along with you, as well as your positive thinking:)

Thanks SC, you have been a great support to me thru this, I really appreciate being able to talk to you, you are a special person and I wish I could give you a big hug in person..... I hope I can sleep tonight....I'm keeping my positive thinking going...and will do my relaxation tapes tonight and tommorrow before the appointment....well I'm not going to think about it any more tonite....and I have some good music in the car for the trip down..yet again my hubby can't come with me so I will do it alone....but I will be strong and not sit and cry in the carpark this time...hugs to everyone talk to you soon....Shannon... wink

Hey Everyone.... Everything is ok...... turn turn turn All the results were normal...no issues with any of the tests....he said I am disgustingly healthy which i think is the best news I have heard in a long time....and I didn't cry in the car park I said a prayer asked the lord to give me strength no matter what the outcome was and marched in on my own.....and I skipped out I was so happy then I cried but happy tears..... yeah yeah yeah Thank you all for your support and encouragement it has helped me get thru this believe me.....now I am going to get down to the business of getting my anxiety monster back in his box and getting well mentally....more relaxation, breathing and my cbt work that I'm doing......big hugs and kisses to you all.....Shannon.... yeah yeah yeah

Congrats Shannon,
You did so well...this is a great example to look back at and know that you made huge progress. You could allowed yourself to been a total wreck for 12 days, but instead you went on with life and kept your thoughts in check. Be very proud of yourself and build on this accomplishment to further get down the road to recovery....Have a wonderful weekend!

Shanny, this is the best news and I am so happy for you! What a great job you did in holding on and hanging in until you got your results. I know that this was really hard, and you not only rose to the challenge, but totally overcame it;)...(and thank goodness your dr. hadn't run off to the 'movies' again Lol!)

Not only did you do great, but you have also been able to help and encourage so many people here as well...you are awesome:)

WTG Shanny,

You just start stuffing that anxiety monster into a big ole box and when you get him trapped in the box put a lid on it. 

One of the best remedies for anxiety is to talk about it. Here's where good friends and family can come in. The old adage "A problem shared is a problem halved".  Stick with us kiddo and you will continue to learn how to control anxiety.  Remember we are here for you !

You guys are all awesome and you have helped me so much, I felt all alone when the anxiety monster first got me, but then I discovered all of you, and even though you all live so far away from me you are my friends because you all understand the struggle and torment that is anxiety..and when I get on my computer I can imagine you all in my head at the other side of the world on your computers, so were only a keyboard apart really...lol...and kitt don't worry I'm not going anywhere I'm going to continue to work on overcoming my anxiety and hopefully I can help others on here too.....

And SC if I had got to the specialist this time and he wasn't there you would have read about it in the papers.."hysterical Stevie nicks lookalike strangles receptionist over test results".....lol....anyway I just wanted to let you know that you are the most supportive, loving and awesome people in the world....hugs to you all...your friend shannon..... yeah .. yeah
