Stress-Anxiety......causing strange seizure like episodes

After posting this, I guess the best way to describe the sensation is like a deja vu feeling. And it keeps repeating itself, and while in the moment, I know exactly what is going to happen, but after it ends, I can't recall it. I couldn't tell you a thing about the episodes I had this morning.

And like I said, it tends to happen most often when I'm very very stressed.

Thanks for your reply! Well, most of the time, I'm awake when they occur. In the shower, driving down the road. Last night's episodes where I was asleep is more uncommon. I've been reading about something called simple partial seizures. I'm gathering seizure meds is what is prescribed, but I don't need that diagnosis, and so far, it's more of a bother, than it is a debilitating issue. My concern is some of the people that posted on that forum indicated that a grand mal could happen down the road.

Thank you for your reply. I must tell you, that my body has never been one to deal with stress well. I have been an on and off chronic hive sufferer since I was 18. As I have gotten older, I have learned that it is a delayed reaction to severe stress. Example, my father was terminally ill, and died in 2009. My mother and I took care of him, and I worked a full time job through this as well. In the Spring of 2010, I got the hives again. Thankfully, I turned to accupuncture and it was under control very quickly, something that had never happened in the past. In 2001, I divorced, in 2002, I started dating again and married at the end of the year. In 2003, the hives came out. It's like when my body finally relaxes after all the stress, the hives take over.

But that's a whole different problem from my stress. I realize I internalize stress and I do try to exercise, eat right, etc. But it's just my internal makeup.

These episodes of deja vu (seizure) or whatever it is come when I have a lot of stress as well. I work a full time job, in management, travel and teach at the community college, three classes a semester. Plus I'm an Elder at my church. To say I have any free time is a mute point. I'm getting ready for next semester and stressing over the course load, and wa-la.....here come those deja-vu moments.
