Newbi here (poll)

Hey guys/gals, new to the site but not anxiety. Been living with that demon for over 20 yrs now. I was reading some of the threads on here and was shocked and saddened to see how many others fight it too. I have gerd and like many of you I've had over a million heart attacks(in my mind) And I'm sure some of you are like me in that your support is at their wits end as well. The one thing that has some what worked for me is laughing, so I tend to watch a lot of dvd's over and over. So with my first thread I thought I would lighten it up with a poll.

I was wanting to see who has been to the ER the most for panic attacks. I have been 3 times. Sorry no prizes but I hope that laughing about something thats really too serious might can help others like me.

I am glad that you have found us, as I know that if you are looking for support by those who know how you feel...then you've found it.:)

Many of us can relate to your post. I am sure that some have even got your number beat;p

I have not been to the ER, but once marched into my doctor's office and 'demanded' an immediate EKG...okay I did call and made an appointment, but I was in such a state that they got me right in within the hour.

I was feeling some PVC's during exercise that scared me so much, I was sure they were heart related. My husband was out of town, and I was sure that I was going to die while my two kids and I were home alone!

Turn's out I was fine of course, but you get the picture. I think that most of us have been there. Kitt just never did because she was a nurse and was already always at the hospital;p...she didn't want to spend more time at work, Lol!

I've also been dealing with GAD, Panic Disorder, and Depression for 25 years now. I lost count as to how many times I was there actually. But I do know that I made a visit to ER in October AND November of 2011. There were a few times before that too, but like I said, I lost count. LOL!
