update on me.

I went to the Neuro last Friday to talk about my MD diagnosis and the fact that I could afford to pay for the genetic testing. He just said" we dont really need to know if you have it anyway since theres nothing you can do for it!".

Pardon the language, but to me..that is crap! There are people that have this form i supposedly have that are in powerchairs, have feeding tubes,etc.

Am i to just go through life telling drs and hospitals i may or may not have this? i went home and looked at my online medical records and he still had it listed as a diagnosis.

so frustrated! thats mt rant. thanks for"listening"

S.C. - I am trying to work with the MDA right now to try and find someone else. Problem is I am on medicaid that only allows me to go to certain hospitals and clinics. of those, there are only two neurologists. I think I may just switch over completely at the first of next month to a whole network of drs. Id hate to do it after getting used to these drs, but I think I am getting used to being treated poorly.

Go online and loof for a MD doctor in you area,, do a search within 50 miles of your home, and if you have public transportation, some countys will let you ride for free, to your appt, I am appaled how the medical community treats us,, just let them be suffering like we are and they would move heaven and earth to get treated,, I have been tossed under tbus so many times its not funny
