Wbc count 9.700 and hgb 14.8 are normal?

i am male 30 years old.previous week was wbc 10.250 and hgb 14 so now are better right?anyway my crp and esr are always elevated like between 20-55 my doc says is nothing to worry about as everything else is fine.i also have ibs(irritable bowel syndrome) and i am overweight have depression panic attacks and gad i am taking cipralex and klonopin.

As far as those readings on the CBC test go...I will tend to obsess on them if they are not 'perfect'...so I now wait and see if my doctor has any concerns...if he doesn't, then I don't even look at them, or ask...or look up things on the web, otherwise it is like opening 'Pandora's Box' for me.

If you tend to overly worry about every little 'score', I might gently suggest that you put this burden on your doctor and not take it upon yourself...if he/she isn't concerned, then don't give it another thought!:)

i always watch the numbers search google and in the end i get more anxious.i need to stop dr google but i cant its like something forces me to it.i still waiting today for my esr nnd crp tests results if they are the same or at least little lower i will be happy but if the increase god the anxiety will go of the roof.my doctors says to increase my dosage of cipralex and klonopin and i have not i think its a mistake right?anw wish me luck the waiting game is killing me

Hi

I can relate on this one as I have done the same as you and goggled my results which has only made me more anxious even though my doctor said my results were fine.

I stay away from goggling my symptoms the best I can now which can be hard. If you have any worries then like SC mentioned go and speak with your doctor.

i just have my crp and esr tests results 18 and 48 they are a little lower than before thats a good sign the doctor says and i have to accept that i always going to have those two elevated due to ibs and high stress and been overweight.so i am fine for now i really want to think positive i will try my best and listen to my doctor.
