Good Morning,

Hey SC I see your online too.  Hi my friend. 

Just an update on my cancer - my PET Scan yesterday was clear which has lowered my anxiety and made me very grateful as I head into chemo. 

Thank you to all who have supported me, followed me on my caring bridge and sent me emails or posted on my FB.

This is the best news! I was so happy to read this yesterday...and although there is still the journey ahead with the chemo treatments, this makes it a lighter burden, I hope.

Do you have a Jama Juice anywhere in your vicinity? When my dad was going through his treaments (an almost 12 yr colon cancer survivor!!) the smoothies were really helpful for him.:) Tasted good when not much else did, and provided good calories and nutrients!

Hibee is off on holiday in Spain! We all should be so lucky, right?;p I hope that he has a great time, as after all the stress he has been through this year, he deserves it.

Maybe you should start to plan your recovery vacation! (and don't forget to pack me, lol)

Great to see you back here, and I know that we all love you and are keeping you in thought and prayer.:)

Good Evening Friends,

I am glad to be back in the forum as much as I can and I am feeling strong and well.  Next Tuesday is the beginning of my 6 months of chemo.  I hope you wish me luck.

I am going to post the link to my Caring Bridge where I am journaling frequently to share with everyone and to ask for prayers and support.  Having anxiety and depression makes it tough to be brave at times but I am working through it and I plan to beat this cancer.

Thanks all :-) .  I have been a moderator on HealingWell since 2007 and have found the support and love shared here in the many forums to be  overwhelming.  Seeing how the members always support each other no matter what is going on in their lives is what makes the world a better place.

Hey Kitt. I just started posting on here more and haven't really gone through all too many posts/threads. I got to this one and just wanted to let you know that you're in my thoughts and that I'm sending lots of good vibes your way.

I agree with SC about a recovery vacation. :) Nothing to stress about.. just some place you may really want to go after you get through this yucky stuff! Or whatever other thing you may want to do that you can look forward to.. it's very important to have those things.

Anyway, we're here for ya. And thanks for the support you've given all of us.

Hey Ben,  It is good to be back.  Tommorow is the first day of Chemo and it takes 3 1/2 - 4 hours at the clinic.  I am worried about the side effects and all the unknowns so today I am staying in the moment and keeping busy with my puter.

We are here with you Kitt. Rest up today after your wild weekend;p...and know that you can take it one day at a time...no anticipating the treatment as a whole, but just the individual steps.

We will walk along side of you, along with your many friends and loving family.:)

Thank you everyone.  Yesterday was a tough day and I am experiencing some ugly side effects already.  One treatment down and 13 more to go,  I will get my positivity back up but my anxiety really kicked my butt yesterday and caused all kinds of tears and mixed emotions.

Please know that I appreciate your support during this time in my life.
