hi, ameyers. sorry that you are having some upsetting symptoms. i certainly know what that can be like.
i can't say that i've had the exact symptoms you describe, but i have definitely had moments when i feel like i'm going to lose my balance or when i become dizzy. i've also had hot/sweaty flashes. lots and lots of other bizarre symptoms, too. i spent a really long time asking myself "is this something serious??" i had to come to terms with the fact my doctors ran every test they felt was necessary, and that they determined i am healthy. when i have weird symptoms, i still sometimes have to remind myself that my doctors went to school for a very long time to know what they know very well, and that i have every reason to be confident that they have done their job properly in my case. using these more logical, rational coping thoughts has helped me feel much less anxious and even improved my weird physical symptoms. when i worry about my physical symptoms, it's like adding fuel to my anxiety fire...the physical symptoms get worse, which makes my anxiety worse, which makes my physical symptoms, and on and on.
you said that you have had every test that six different doctors felt you need, that your test results were normal, and that you have been assured this is not some type of seizure. it might help if you remind yourself of that when you notice your physical symptoms, and then turn your attention to something enjoyable that can distract you from focusing on the symptoms. this is how i have to manage my health anxiety, and it has taken a lot of practice, but i am getting better and FEELING better all the time. :)
hang in there and keep sharing....we're here to help you get through this!!
