Stress Test

I panic alot too ; ). I haven't had a stress test in years so things may be a little different now. I had to give some blood, then get the ekc/ecg electrodes taped to my chest blood pressure cuff on arm and pulse ox on finger. I think I also had a mask over mouth to record force of exhalations. It was a little cumbersome but no biggie. The next thing was to get on a treadmill and walk for awhile and eventually jog and even run. I didn't run for too long and all the docs were pretty good about letting me go my own pace. The whole experience lasted about 20-30 minutes.

All in all it was a pretty easy experience so you should do fine. The only thing I will say is that I was wearing a sports bra that day and that was not allowed... Running topless on a treadmill in front of a bunch of docs was a little embarrassing but they didn't stare or make it more awkward. I would advise if you are female to wear a very small bra (so the electrodes can tape into place) to avoid a topless running adventure ; )
