Hi All

Just thought I would post a quick thread regarding Hurricane Sandy. I live over in Scotland and have been watching updates on the news and would like to say that I hope every one is ok who lives on the east coast please do take all the precautions you can and I hope there is not to much damage.

Thanks for the concern! I like in West Virginia and we're just getting a little wind and lots of rain, but it might snow tonight and tomorrow! My mom and sister live in Virginia very close to the coast and I'm a little worried about them.

I live in Florida. Sandy just gave us a bunch of wind as it passed by on the side of us but that's about it.

Things are leaking, trees have fallen but at least we still gave power here in Maryland...lol.

I'm in ohio and it has rained non stop for days and the wind is crazy..can't imagine the coast¡! Hope everyone is safe

Washington DC here.

Lights have been flickering but still have power. Major flooding around here, though.

It's so windy and the rain is relentless. Very cold, too.

I think the worst is over.

Best wishes to everyone caught up in Sandy. I hope things improve soon. I'm in Queensland, Australia and my city got flooded at the beginning of last year. It was a scary time and some areas are still recovering. Times like this can bring out the best and worst in people, though the best does seem to be more common.

Hi All

Hope things are improving and every one ok without to much damage. We are getting crazy weather at the moment all over the world I think we are in for a cold winter.

I woke up to a snow storm in WV today! Could be much worse but not something I expected to have to deal with in October... Glad we didn't lose power or anything.

Over in Massachusetts the damage hasn't been terrible. A number of downed trees in my neighborhood and a few blown transformers here and there. But my friends in New York have it a lot worse!
