Waking up with a sick panic attack

Has anyone that has taken zoloft woke up like after an hour or so from sleeping in full shaking mode with instant stomach issues and have to just about throw a whole cold towel over them to get out of this when you stand up you feel like you are gonna pass out and then just throw up which causes you to finally come out of it and calm down....that just happened to me ...I take my zoloft when I get home from work around 530 everyday I took my 4th 25mg tonight...do you think it is just the medicine building up and becoming strong that made this happen to me....never happened before.....Thanks....anyone?

It is hard to say...

It could be a considerable side effect...or it could be something that you ate, or a virus...you may just need to wait and see.

I would call your doctor and discuss it with him/her as this seems like a somewhat severe reaction and one that you won't want to live with if it keeps up!

I hope that this was just a passing thing and that you feel better soon.

Thanks for your reply...I did stay home from work today to rest but i am feeling better this morning and afternoon....I am still a bit nauseous here and there so I am gonna just take it easy today and this weekend and maybe it was just the meds kicking in or me just worrying....Thanks again

Just wanted to update on my weekend....since my panic attack/sick whatever it was on Thursday night ....I stayed home Friday and was still a little nauseous but Saturday and today have been really good...so that would have been pill 5 and 6....I just took my pill 7 and I really really feel like the Zoloft is decreasing my panic....I have taken bites thru out the day of my clonozepam 1mg but I haven't even used 3/4 of it yet...I will probably take one more bite right before I go to bet but still won't have used the whole pill....so I think the zoloft is really working...sorry this is so long...but anyway...the only thing that is bothering me is the thought of getting up early in the morning and going back to work...I think it is just that I am anxious about what will happen but I have been fine for 3 days now...I just don't like getting nervous at work I get so scared and the fluorescent lights mess with me I think...but maybe I have gotten enough zoloft in me so far to help?  Wish me luck!!  and I hope the best for everyone else too...

I'm glad ur starting to feel better and I'm glad ur meds. seem to be working for u. I wish I could say the same...I don't really feel n e different. When did u notice ur meds. were working?

Well, I did have a shaky day yesterday but I this morning I wasn't shaky so I don't think they are all the way balanced yet but about Sunday so 1 week I started to feel more in control but of course occasionally I am taking a bite of the clonozepam when I feel like I might have a panic attack....I am at work now just got here and feeling a bit edgy like I do every morning since I started having panic but I think it is just the fluorescent lights and getting myself settled in.....I promise you should feel better if you just keep taking them....I can't remember what you were taking but it does take about 3-4 weeks and even more I have heard to feel really good.....I hope we both have good days today!!!!
