Hi chuck a and welcome!
I am so sorry to hear of your accident! That must have been both traumatic and painful for you to say the least.
I am so glad that you were able to have the reconstructive surgery...but I know that you still have a lot of uncertainty as to how your hand will function.
I hope that through healing and perhaps good PT that you will regain as much use as possible.
I think your decision to take the Zoloft is a good one. After a serious illness or injury, it is not uncommon to have anxiety...so why not do everything that you can to be better body and mind?
Another good treatment option is therapy. It can help you to get through the challenges that your circumstances have and may continue to bring up. You may want to ask your doctor for a referral to a therapist who can help you to feel your best.
I really hope that your prescript
ion works out for you. It takes some time to see results, so try to be patient. In the meantime, you can check out our Resource Guide here to give you some good self-help ideas that you can start on right away.
Keep posting with us as well. It is helpful to talk with others who understand. We are listening and here for your support!
