Sertraline-Rapid Discontinuation

Well, I have only 1 50mg tablet left. I'm taking 75mg per day. There was a problem with the second script for the higher does of meds. My choices...pay 45.00 for the prescription or wait 72 or possibly 96 hours if they aren't counting Sunday to see if the new script will be approved. I'm thinking about just not taking the last tablet. What do you guys think? What is the discontinuation syndrome like? I've been on the Sertraline for about a month.

I had problems with a script being out of date and I was completely out. The chemist said because you really shouldn't stop taking sertraline suddenly the could give me some on approval but I had to bring in a current script with in a few days. maybe go in to your pharmacy and ask if you can talk to the pharmacist on duty (the one who is licensed to dispense medicine rather that the counter staff. I know in some shops it can be different people) and explain the situation. At the very least they should be able to give you the right advice about what to do.
I weened my self of sertraline last year. I did it slowly under dr's supervision and I still had some strange effects so I imagine going cold turkey would be worse.

U r probably out of whack bc of both med situations...I am still chugging along too feeling better but still times of nervousness and panic
