All manner of things can cause this, for myself, it was a mix of anxiety, allergy to msg and dehydration, I would get tingly in my hands and feet first, then it would creep up my arms, sometimes tingle in my face and nose then all over my body but that was later on after it got worse. Finally I stopped all msg, drank a bit more water or any liquid of choice during the day and the tingling virtually went away in a few days.
However, medical problems like diabetes and the like can also cause tingling in the hands, feet and face, so make sure you speak to your doctor to check those things out, they will know right away what tests to run.
Oh one other thing, drinking alcohol would also cause this, mix of dehydration, loss of sugars and allergy to the type of grain or whatever they used to make the alcohol (wheat, barley etc.).
If you come up clear on the doctor's tests, ask them if you may be allergic to a food or msg, sometimes they don't believe in the msg allergy, so ask them how you can change your diet or give you some guidelines on how to test for food allergy.
Try to eliminate msg, anything monosodium glutamate, a lot of times (spice and all natural flavoring) has it hidden in it, so I avoid those and ANYTHING autolyzed or hydrolyzed caused problems as well.
Good luck, hope you find some help or relief soon.
Another thing while I'm thinking about
it is, a lot of times your anxiety can run high when you really do have an issue because you or the doctor hasn't yet figured out what it is, so sometimes once you get to the root of the issue, your anxiety will lessen.
