Moments of forgetfulness are among those small blows
to self-esteem that can lead people to worry but in reality it is common for
everyone to have moments of forgetfulness. Every healthy person finds themselves
standing from time to time in a room having completely forgotten why they are there.
And while some people's memories are, indeed, worse than others, researchers
have found, it is only sudden and severe memory loss that may indicate a
problem.
I suspect that your anxiety and all of the activities
of the holidays plus your new meds have may have contributed to this glitch in
your memory.
I am receiving chemo and I am experiencing what is referred to as chemo fog but I do know I am ok and any memory glitches for me should fade away when I complete chemo.
Be well and know we are here for you,
