didn't take atenolol and anxious all day ughhh

i forgot to get my atenolol filled and tried to go all day without it.  i have high blood pressure but it's not bad and i take it more for my heartrate. 

my blood pressure is perfect but went to go get it filled and they didn't have it ready at walmart.  i hate that place.  try not to go anymore but they fill prescriptions cheaper than walgreens. then they fill it and it's wrong.  argggg  and the drive thru was closed.  so i'm not a happy camper - sit down to wait with my son and take my blood pressure and it's ok but my hr is 110!  ok i'm wondering if this is a mind thing - i didn't take it so my heartrate will increase or if it does on it's own?  all day it's been in the 90s.  i hate thinking that if i didn't have it my hr would be so high. 

i AM ovulating too and this always makes me more anxious but still. 

anyone else take it and have this issue if you run out?  i want a normal hr without medication!

I was actually just prescribed this but super paranoid about taking it. I'm 27 and already on a beta!!! Mine was given to me for heart rate as well but I am usually in the normal range unless I swing into a spell and then I can be in like 115's for 10min maybe.
When I picked up the medicine the first thing I seen was could cause heart attackbif suddenly stopped. That scared me and has made me paranoid of the medicine.
Do u feel this helps you? Any side effects u exp?
