Hi laxmom,
I am on Zoloft....my second go around with it. I am not in any way suggesting medical advise however when I started Zoloft (both times) I started on 50mg for 10 days then went to 75mg for a week then 100mg for two weeks. So in about
a four to five week period my dosage increased twice. My assumption is you may need a dosage increase. Although everyone is different, consult your doctor as it may be time to go up.
There are other things you can do to help with the anxiety as well. I use meditation and relaxation CD's which I downloaded to my Ipod. They are amazing (especially at bedtime) to help relax my mind and body. Nighttime used to be a bad time for me....and still is on occasion. Also, I went to therapy and learned CBT. That took me a little longer to get but once I did it was a tremendous help. I also read a lot (about
panic and anxiety), journaled and I try to walk as much as possible.
Don't get discouraged about
the anxiety coming back....setbacks happen. But I bet once you get to your therapeutic dose of Zoloft things will calm down. Be patient even as hard as it is for us anxiety folks. :)
Be well!
Packer
