Anxiety and the resultant behavior is hard to understand and deal with unless you have been through it. These books and article may help your b/f to cope with the situation a little better.
I think of it as a shared responsibility by the sufferer and the supporter.
The sufferer needs to own his/her disorder, get help and not make excuses for their behavior...
...the supporter needs to be educated about A/P, and try to have as much patience and understanding as possible.
