Dear Friends,

Just 2 months since I completed therapy and things were looking good. My CT Scan from the end of January was clear.  I had a CT Scan this week :

CT impression: New adenopathy in the ileocolonic mesentary of the right mid abdomen and in the left periaortic chain not present on previous study in January, consistent with increasing tumor markers.

New adenopathy = new areas of cancer - 3 near the original site of the tumor and one outside that area but very close to my abdominal aorta.

My future will include surgery, chemotherapy and not sure yet how all this is going to play out.

I had a PET Scan yesterday and those results will be available on Monday.

So I am sad to share that I will be hit and miss here in the forum but I hope it is more hit then missing.

I don't have much in the way of words Kitt-Katt...

Just know that my heart is full of so many emotions right now. I am angry at the cancer, I am sad to hear that you have to go through more procedures and treatment. I am dissapointed that you don't get the rest and break that you deserve. I am frightened along with you, and the what-ifs of the future months.

Even as I am feeling these things, the reality that you are feeling it  so much more just makes my heart break...and I wish that I could take all of it away for you.

I do know that you are strong beyond measure though...and that you have a great support system at home, among your friends, and here.

Everyone that you know has been blessed by you, and will now be with you again as you put your boxing gloves back on.

We love you, and won't leave your side.

Kitt, reading your post makes me sad. I'm soo sorry that the cancer is back. Hope the treatment goes well for you.

Thanks a lot kitt for the blessings you've given us. I'm sorry to hear the news. If I can just let my powerful mind do the trick to heal you, I'll think of you getting well everyday instead of thinking about my worst case scenarios. I'll pray for you too. Our minds can be powerful but God is beyond that. Have more strength and faith!
