anxiety and heartburn

I've had heartburn since sunday night, is it normal for it to last this long? I'm worried its an ulcer and I need reassurance.
I feel like I can't sleep or eat and I'm miserable.
I'm going to call my doctor tomorrow. I know I should see a specialist to rule out other causes for my constant stomach issues but I'm scared of the tests they'll make me do and how high my anxiety will get while waiting for results.
I feel like I can't deal with this anymore, and I dont know what to do.
I feel like theres always something wrong with my digestive track and its hard to believe that its all from anxiety.

i am so glad that someone else posted about this. because i've basically diagnosed myself with reflux (knowing how it feels because my mom has it as well) and i have noticed that my anxiety somewhat fuels my reflux and vice versa.
but i always tend to 80% of the time have heartburn. it is absolutely a pain and uncomfortable to deal with.

i take 1-2 zantac a day to deal with it right now. i try watching what i eat knowing somewhat what will trigger it. but i suggest trying the zantac for now until you can go see a doctor and possibly get a prescription.
