It's as if I wrote your threads. It's EXACTLY how I feel & the same worries. I don't take medication either for my anxiety so I know it's not some sort of side effect. I'm glad your seeing a psychiatrist Friday!
It helps just to talk to someone who listens without judgment and that understands anxiety. My husband doesn't get it either & sometimes says hurtful things which make me upset but I've come to accept that unless you've experienced anxiety, you really have no clue or understanding what it's like!
I do know though many women (myself included) have worse anxiety around their menstrual cycle most likely due to hormones and being pregnant your hormones are all mixed up!
I'm starting to think my anxiety has a lot to do with hormones because of my Mirena IUD which I posted about
recently. I'm having it taken out Friday :/
Just know you are not alone with this. Posting and reading threads on here is amazingly comforting for me and there are tons of wonderful people. Try accepting your anxiety instead of pushing it away. Sounds silly but the more we push it away the harder it fights back. When we accept it & deal with it via therapy, medication, self help.....whatever approach, it lessens. Best of luck to you and keep us updated.
