When does anxiety go away!RANT HELP can someone relate to me?

I'm 23 female two months ago I went to a very dumb obgyn for pelvis pain well he scared the living crap out of me by telling me I had a mass in my ovaries and he couldn't really give me much explanation so I researched him learned how he lost his licenses for malpractice he couldn't diagnose a lady and she ended up dying of cancer... That put me over the top on anxiety so I quickly found a new doctor but wait time was a month and a half... Well one night I was sleeping I jolted out of my sleep in a panic attack and serious chest pains so I quickly went to the ER they thought maybe I had a blood clot in my lungs which turned to be nothing and that I needed to relax I continued to have chest pain and found out I was having a allergic reaction to Vicodin so I stopped and the chest pains subsided... I was then given Xanax which has helped me a great deal to sleep... My legs and arms have been feeling numb and tingly for no reason so I had a ultrasound to check for blood clots none I had a lump in my breast mammogram given nothing found... Finally went to new obgyn I have blood cyst and having it removed on Monday I'm a little sad to see my ovary be taken out but ill be happy when its done and over with... But I can't kick this god darn anxiety. It is lurking on me with every ache or pain I feel I go into full blown panic I don't get it. Last night I fell asleep and I jolted out of my sleep cause my arm went numb and is still numb... I know I'm not having a stoke cause I've had 3 ekgs I know I am fine but how do you get it to go away I just want my simple life back without having to take Xanax... I try to stay stress free but I'm a stay at home mom of two girls 3 and 1 so my life is plenty stressful... Do other people have crazy symptoms with there stress? Right now my symptoms are pressure headaches, numbness and tingling in arms and legs almost like a pinched nerve, I can't sleep or stay asleep, chest discomfort, back aches, charley horses in my legs, eye floaters, can't think straight and lastly anxious and panicy .. I think the list can go on... Can someone relate so I don't feel crazy so I'll stop thinking I'm going to up and die or have my imaginary stroke... How do you control your anxiety? Will it go away? Tips or directions

Welcome! I Can relate to alot of your symptoms and mine to only started two months ago! I haven't been able to control mine yet I am doing CBT! If you try to control them it seems to just make them worse :-(

I also can relate, unfortunately. For the past 3 months panic had been a prevailing theme in my life. I have various symptoms as well. Numbness and tingling in my extremities, lightheadedness, insomnia, chest pain, heart palpatations, fear of death at every turn etc. I've almost wrecked my car recently because my heart felt like it was bursting out of my chest. I have several er visits, countless dr office visits, ekgs and these have all lead back to panic. Its as complete nightmare. Luckily people open to talk about it and share their experiences. It definitely helps. I come here when I'm panicking and just read through the posts...it calms me down.

Hi B1818 and welcome!

I am sorry to hear of your recent anxiety troubles. It is not uncommon for a health issue to spark an anxiety problem...thus making more physical symptoms to deal with...as well as health worry, run out of control.

I invite you to check out our Resource Guide here for an overview of some of the greatest self-help ideas that you can try. The breathing and relaxation exercises alone may help you to stay calm and help get through the next few days until your procedure.

If your anxiety continues afterward, you may want to consider talking to your doctor about the treament options in  therapy.

Keep posting here as well...like randalee said...it helps to calm and feel a sense of understanding and support!

I'm sorry to hear about your trouble with your ovary, but glad to hear it wasn't cancer! Are they leaving the other ovary? From my understanding, one ovary can fulfill its purposes all on its own. ;) I don't say that to make little of what you're going through - trust me, I understand ovary issues. Just hoping that might be a little reassurance.

My husband and I both have anxiety with panic attacks. I think between the two of us, we have every one of your symptoms covered, so you are definitely not alone!

The resources S.C. referred you to are great.

So sorry u r goin thru dis. Anxiety is a pain in da butt and do not worry u r not alone. I experience the same exact symptoms everyday. I am 26 yr old female who recently had my first panic attack last month and although I haven't had any intense attacks I do have numbness and tinglin in my left arm ..hand and legs everyday. Along wit dat i have chest pains..jaw pain..warm spells..headaches..moments when I feel ima faint..da list certainly goes on. I swear everyday I wake up I'm thankin god for lettin me c anutha day while at da same time scared to death dat I mite die dat same day. Its sucks. Like u I've had ekgs chest xrays..blood work..cat scans etc everything came back fine but I'm still worried mayb da docs missed sumthin. I assure u tho me and others here can def relate to wat ur feelin so u r not alone. U came to da rite place and I wish u da best of luck.!!!!! feel free to post anytine

I am glad I am not alone and people responded to my post 😁 I feel like I'm in it for a long run tonight I can't shake my aniexty tonight so I'm watching once upon a time to keep my mind on ease!!

@berock I have a 5cm cyst looks to be a simple blood cyst and doesn't look to be cancer or anything strange but it does cause me a great deal of pain and discomfort. They are only taking the one because the cyst is inside of it and the other one seems healthy but they truly won't know until the have a look. I'm hoping ill get to keep both but who knows. I know I could have children with one but it would be hard to... But the bright side of that I have two lovely daughters so if I can't have more I'm glad I was blessed with two!

Maybe you can hold onto both of them! I wondered if that was part of the anxiety. (I can definitely relate.) One of my good girl friends has had three children with only one ovary - two girls, a year apart, and a boy two years later. She did use fertility treatments, but only one cycle for each child, so there's hope. :)

So glad you were blessed with two daughters, though! That is, indeed, a bountiful blessing!

I hope the doctors able to relieve your pain very soon.

Brittney my wife had two girls with one ovary, they didnt have fertility treatments back then but we did really try hard! peace

It sounds like you are dealing with what many of us are dealing with - health anxiety. I am one of them who fears every ache, pain, bump, bruise, bite is some horrible disease or illness. It is absolutely horrible, but you have come to the right place.

Hopefully some positive reassurance is on its way for you.
