These symptoms are very, very familiar to me. I have experienced those same things, many, many times. Each time, you think it's the last time and this is the Big One. I don't get those anymore (or if I do they're less intensity, either that or I've learned to tune them out and BREATHE through them). I never thought they'd end, they're so distracting.
I still have anxiety, and my panic attacks are RARE now (they were a regular occurrence for years).
That skin sensation can be the result from being hyper-aware and over-focusing on the sensations. Don't discount distractions like a shower which creates a different sensation on your skin to help create a "pause" in those sensations. Sometimes that's enough.
Often it's caused by hyperventilating. Not even a whole lot, just a little. Shallow breaths, quick breaths that are deep enough. That almost always creates that tingling sensations somewhere on the body.
Breathing exercises,....they're powerful. I used to poo-poo them as too "New Age" hippy-dippy stuff, but you cannot deny physiology. The more educated I became, and understood, it helped.
I went from suffering several per day, each and every day, to now where I only get them "situationally" ....around certain events. I never thought I'd get this far. But I did. You will too.
