Well as the title says today was an absolutely horrible day. I said to myself last night that I was gonna try to have a relaxing day today but that was thrown down the toilet as soon as I woke up.

So to start off I woke up and started to have this pain on my left abdomen. And it kept getting worse and I though it would pass over like a back pain I woke up with a few weeks ago. Nope I was dead wrong it lasted all school day and still have it now as I type. It hurts when I breath deeper and generally when I start to move around and when it hurts bad it hurts when I try to stretch it out. Would anybody know? Nurse said it might be gas but Im not sure because it is only really better when I lay down or am comfortable it also didnt hurt much at all when in gym during our fitness day. Speaking of which we did some jogging and had a little bit of a tough time with that because I felt like a weight was on my chest and occasionally felt my heart beating pretty hard. In lunch had a few palpitations and what not and freaked me out a bit. And now the pain is still here and don't know what caused it. Yesterday I was perfectly fine. And now for some reason my face is flushed red for no reason and has been like this for awhile. And to top it all off I won't be able to see the pediatric cardiologist until the end of the month! I just want the pain to go away and just for once I want to have a great day.

Some input on my left abdomen pain would be nice cause I just woke up with it and is even now still bothering me or as to why my face is flushed red. Ugggg not a good Thursday

If you felt it when you woke up, it could just be the way you slept.
When that happens to me it is usually my ribs (which is why it hurts to take a deep breath or certain movements). It should go away in a day or 2. I can see how it could make you nervous.

On a positive note, I think if it was something else (like your stomach), you'd have other symptoms by now.

Try to stay calm and wait it out. Maybe try some heat on the area that is painful - it may ease the pain some.

Weird thing is when I woke up I felt fine but really started to feel it when I took a shower and lasted all day. But I hope your right because tomorrow is Friday and my Friday last week was excellent and I hope this one is too and that the pain can just go away.

Because last time I woke up with bad back pain then same way. Fine when I woke up but when I took a shower it really came in and radiated a bit but then disappeared as the day went on. This pain lasted all day and hasn't gone away or gotten better

I bet that it will go away as quickly as it appeared. It could be trapped gas, or IBS related.

I have a spot that acts up when I am symptomatic with IBS. It is the same spot on my right lower abdomen (never good, as I spent an entire vacation the first time it happened worried about my appendix!)

As long as you don't have like a level 6/7 or + pain, and no fever, vomiting or anything that would be a red flag...give it a day or so...I am betting it will be gone soon.

I hope that the rest of today and tomorrow are much better for you.

I sure hope so SC. Like I said when I lay down I am fine when I get up though it gets worse so I don't know but I sure do hope it is gone by tomorrow.

They have been normal for me really. Some more easy flowing than others. But yeah

Hey guys today was a better day and I had no pain on my left side. So that's a plus but right now I just really want to get that cardiologist appointment done and over with but I won't be able to go until the end of the month! Ugg please pray for me guys. I just pray everyday that I can hang in there and for everything to be okay.
