I have been dealing with anxiety and depression since I had my last child 5 years ago. I am constantly scared that something is wrong with me. I have an amazing family whom are very supportive but I still can't seem to shake these feelings. I am afraid some day my husband will be tired of dealing with this and leave he never complains about
it just a scared feeling I have. I also feel like my sight is going bad I can see but sometimes it's like a bright like in my eyes idk what to do anymore I've been to the doctor a lot had blood work ct scans abd EKG but it was almost a year ago for the ct scan should I go back for another one? Sorry if this doesn't make sence just how I feel on a daily basis and yes I'm on anti depressants

Hi Woody,
sorry your having a tough time, 5 years is a long time to suffer.
By the way, your Husband sounds like a supportive and loving Man, your family too, something to be cherished. My Mrs struggled to come to terms with my anxiety and depression....and still does :{
My opinion is this, your physical heath is FINE, please don't worry yourself unnecessarily by going for more scans!
'IF' there were anything wrong with you, they would have told you to come back and they would have definitely let you know by now.
The eyesight bright light episode is anxiety related, iv'e had it in the past, it will pass i know. Thing is, anxiety related illnesses and phobias are many and varied.
You will get there...iv'e suffered with your symptoms for 10 years but am ALOT better than I was.
HONESTLY you will be fine in time...
All the very best to you, take care.

Hi Woody and again, welcome!
I am glad that you decided to make your own thread!:)
I too believe that you are most suredly fine from a physical standpoint. If you have had a regualr check up in the last year, and all was good, then you are most likely dealing with physical anxiety symptoms.
Perhaps it is time to discuss a medication evaluation with your doctor though if you are not getting the results that you need.
Also, have you considered
therapy
as a treament option? If not, then I would also encourage you to talk to your doctor about
a referral. I as well as many other members here have benefitted from it so much!
Until then, I invite you to check out our
Resources
if you haven't already (main page, 1st post) and try some of the self-help ideas that are available there.
Keep posting with us if you find it helps. It is good to have the support and understanding of other who know what you are going through!
Talk to you soon,
S.C.

Hi Woody,
That could be down to tension.
Unfortunately the symptoms of anxiety are many and varied, they can effect us in different ways, i'm sure it will pass.
Take care,
Gian
