As Poe said, sitting can put pressure on your body in a number of ways. Sometimes it can compress nerves coming out of your low back that run down your legs. Doesn't mean you're injured or even that you have to have back pain...sometimes these things are just caused by sitting too long in a certain way.
One way to think of this is: Eventually there's a point where "something" happens, right? Maybe that nerve's been frustrated or cranky for a while and it picked 8 or 9 days ago to speak up so you pay attention?
Sometimes when these nerves are compressed, a person may just feel it in one foot or one calf, or even just one thigh or butt....doesn't have to be even. Because it's in one spot, and especially since you said there's no redness and hotness,....those are good things to keep in mind that should help you breathe easier!
Our bodies are unique and are designed to bounce back, if we give them a chance.
Best of all, you've made a doc's appt and you'll be checked out. That's good news!
