checking in....

Hi guys. just checking in. Hope you are all stress and anxiety free.

As many of you know because you have supported me, my daughter left for college three weeks ago and my son just started senior year. I take one day at a time. The first week I was sick to my stomach all the time, than my daughter came to visit and I felt better. The next week was ok. I was anxious but managable and tried to keep busy. This week so far I do not feel good. By that I mean very achy and just maybe depressed. I am alone all day and try to keep busy but I am so achy the last two days and having bathroom/stomach issues. Can this be anxiety? I am getting nervous. I am a mess...I know I have said this but I practice my CBT and just want to be better.

That is where I am...how is everyone?

this empty nest thing really sux, I'm a old man and I miss the heck out of my Daughters, but we do
have our computers, email, and phones, not the same but it helps. Love you girl, Peace

Hi Gizmo,

It sounds like you are actually doing really well! I want to encourage you that it will keep getting easier. You seem to be handling it as best as can be expected...remember when you first posted about your anxiety regarding your daughter leaving? I am very impressed with your progress!

Keep posting with us, and know that we understand. My oldest will be moving out again on her own next month...and while it is the right thing, and needs to happen...I am feeling very mixed emotions about it.

We will hang in there together, right? ;)
