Buspar for anxiety?

I was wondering if anyone had a chance to take this medication for anxiety. This was my first medicine I had taken and I have to say the side effects were minimal and I wish I would of stayed on it longer. I was taking 15 mg 3 times a day. Honestly the only reason I wanted to try another anti depressant was curiosity. And now I have figured it is not that easy after taking celexa and Effexor. I think I like Effexor but the zombie feeling , sweating and constant thirst is a bit much for me. I am taking 75 mg a day. The fact that there are 2 chemicals working on my brain isn't exactly reassuring much either. I kind of wished I would of stayed on the buspar. I am really hoping someone has had some success with the medicine .

I was on Buspar for about 1 1/2 months. I liked it. It seemed to help till 1 1/2 months into it. I think I needed a dosage increase but decided to just stop taking it. I did have some side effects with it. Headache, wobbly leg and some brain zaps. But in the long run it worked for me. Just wanted to try to work thru this without medication.

I've been on the maximum dosage of 60 mg a day for quite a number of years now and have had zero problems with it. I am also on the maximum dosage of Paxil.

good to know! I am going to give my Effexor a little longer and If all else fails with that I think Ill give it another shot. Thanks for the help
