any good stories about paxil? thinking of quitting

Everyone reacts differently to any given medication. The key is finding which one works for you as an individual. So while it is good to do your research, you ultimately have to just see for yourself...as you could hear a dozen differing opinions from various people.

How many days have you been on your Rx? The first few weeks are going to be the toughest as far as s/e's go. They will begin to taper as the medication goes from the build up phase to leveling off, and then benefits start to be most noticeable.

If your side effects are truly intolerable after the initial couple of weeks, then talk with your doctor. However, if you can hang in there, you may find that you have a med that is going to work well for you after the beginning break in period.:)

Everyone is different but I don't remember side effects or they we so small I didn't worry about them. They usually go away in 3 days to two weeks. I did start on 20 mg I believe so that may make a difference. I would say as long as you can handle them then stay with it. This has been a good pill for me and many others also. Hope things get better soon.
