Dear Anxious, I have been reading your posts for a while, although you have people with you I get the
feeling that You feel very lonely. Honestly I hope I am wrong about
that because I was much the same
way at your age. I was in the military from the time I was 17 until 25 and realized that even though I
was surrounded by thousands of people I was lonely as hell. The good thing about
life is it will change,
sometimes suddenly, and sometimes so suttualy you don't even realize it. I got home from VN and found
a job in two weeks, had an apartment just didn't have anybody in my life, I innocently stopped at the restaurant after work and was having coffee with some working partners when this Red Head Goddess walked in the door, she happened to be a school friend of one of the people I was having coffee with.
I asked her to go see if she would come over to our table, well that was the first of October and we were Married in January, had two Beautiful Daughters and 6 wonderful Grand kids, and last night I was told that my first Great Grandchild was on the way. Yes Anxious life can turn you up side down in the time it takes for lighting to flash in the dark. Don't despair, your life will change also, just don't force it, keep Faith and go with the flow, one of these days you will be telling us about
some lucky young man who chased you until you caught him, then surprise, babies, it will happen and these sad lonely days will seem like they happened to someone else! Peace.
