What SSRI workes best for you

I took zoloft (sertraline) for 2 months. I felt great but I was clenching my teeth so bad that my jaw hurt. I had to quit because of that.

Then to lexapro (escitalopram), I developed the headaches and weird head sensations) was on it for 6 weeks and quit cold turkey. it's been a month after I quit and I still have headaches.

I need to find something that works for me. I can't deal with this anxiety any longer, especially because I have to take care of 2 small children.

Which one has worked for you the best? thanks so much!

Leah, I never used anything except xanax because anxiety and panic were my problems, I had to learn just
how much I really needed, chemically we are all just a little different, the strongest xanax flat put me to bed.
but they always shut down the horrible fear that I was dying. Over time I worked my way down to the smallest xanax and then just used as needed. I hope you find level ground soon. Peace

Lexapro worked good for me for years. I got messed up with the generics and different manufacturers.

Hi Leah, well I took lexapro for 3 months, nothing happened except the side effects.

Then switched to Cymbalta 30 for 5 weeks, nothing happened, upped to 60 mg 10 days ago, and I feel that there is a gradual change, something is different. I still take ativan for anxiety.
