Lacey all these meds are no real problem to get off of if they have never been abused, for instance I personaly took xanax the strongest level 4 times a day for many years, when I got to a point with my
therapy that I had confidence I started to change the strength, it took a while for me to realize how little
i could take and still do my job, (when i first started the strong ones I would knock myself out) I had to find
a level that I could feel ok and still do my job. Over a one year period I moved down to the .25 take as
needed by this time I had plenty of therapy and wanted to test my system I finally got to where when the
anxiety built up I could take half a small one and smooth it out, at bed time I would take a whole one, then
came the day I felt like riding the anxiety out until bed time, about
two years ago I accidentally started taking
benadryl at bed time and it worked but I "did not start out this way", now I just carry xanax for a surprise
attack. This is a good medicine, the only people I ever knew of that had a problem with it were recreational
users and You are not using it any differently than I did, Lacey if you were fighting diabetes you would take
your meds without question, you have worried enough, use as the Doctor prescribed and when you feel
stronger tell your Doctor what you want to do, I know you will find Peace.
