@ Er right now ..... Can't take it

I'm @ er , was in bed going to sleep , body start feeling weird and woke up extreme panic , heart was pounding and racing like never before .....

Called 911 , .... So far EKG is perfect ......

In hospital bed in tears .... This is horrible .... Why ,why , why ,.......

Before went to bed was little upset , went to GP doctor today for blood work up results , everything was good , I'm not Diabetic , but in borderline , long as I keep my diet and stuff going I'm fine , but doc said it was some urine in my kidneys , or something like that , he said it does not mean anything except that they will have to watch it , and how people that's diabetic or prone to it they watch , ... It scared the crap out of me , I'm already dealing with my son and his leukemia ,.... This is all too much ....

Thanks Ray , I been going through this since last august , and I been to ER , 1000x or more , its awful .... Every test , every specialist , and so one , what the hell is going on with this , where the hell did it come from ... Hell that's exactly where ..... Its a demonic force and we are in the battle ....it comes to destroy ..... But I'm fighting with everything in Me ... I'm still @ er ... Hope you get some rest...

so I'm back from the er, some of these doctors are so dumb ....

I'm ok , thank The Lord ..... So that Xanax really messed me up , I only took 0.25mg on Tuesday , don't like how it makes me feel so I didn't take another , it def calmed my anxiety down , but since I haven't taken it again , and it left my body , my body going through something like withdrawal sx , and more PANIC .... That was the second scariest panic attack I had since this all started .....

Xanax is not for me , I will stick to Ativan as need , and its a 0.5 dose .... But I guess my Body was used to it ....m

How long do I gave to wait until this extra panic from the Xanax to leave , I only took this one Xanax ever in my life , and thus was horrible ......

What's a girl to do , no sleep all night , I gotta get some rest , I wanna take a Ativan but wAy to scared .....

I feel so bad you are going through this. I know exactly how you feel I was at the ER last winter with terrible anxiety and depression almost every single Friday night. While most people my age are out having fun enjoying life im battling this mess more miserably than happily. I thought I was doing pretty good for the past week or two then again it caught me off guard yesterday out of nowhere, takes nothing at all to set it off, its frustrating, just whenever your body feels like it, it strikes again. I try hard to ignore it but the worse it is, the harder it is to ignore, I know! It becomes too physical then your mind wanders off and gives you scary thoughts and makes you believe something terrible Is going on! My Xanax isn't even enough to take it away anymore and I refuse to take 2 at a time because it scares me, even though my dr says its ok. Are you prescribed any benzo's? Since you have been panicking so much Id say you need something like Xanax or klonopin, if you don't want to be on meds, I would say it is much less frustrating to take a pill to calm down over running to the ER all the time, been there done that way too many times! As Im typing this giving you advice im shaking I feel nautious my head is pounding and feels like its full of air, I just feel sick and tired and Im trying hard to fight against it and it is very very hard when it becomes physical! I even took my benzo at around 11a.m. and im not due for another until 7p.m.! As you know you are not alone and we are all here to talk if you need to!

I suspect that it is not the Xanax, but simply acute anxiety that is causing these issues...as Xanax has a very short effect, and leaves the body quickly.

There is also no way that you could get withdrawl effects after having taken just one dose.

Nevertheless, it is obviously not the med for you, since it is causing you such mental (if not physical) distress. :(

Go ahead with the Ativan...it is familiar, has worked for you before, and will help you to relax and come down from this anxiety cycle.  Do your coping skills as well during this time...they are a must!
