Anxiety, no confidence and keep losing my job

I am having trouble holding a job because of my nerves and lack of self confidence. I am dealing with so much anxiety in my life and feel like I literally cannot think. I do take medication and wonder if it slows me down at work or if it is my disorder.

I agree that you should discuss your situation with your doctor. Have you been on your SSRI for a long time? Sometimes medications are not at their peak perfomance either early on, or if you have been on them for a prolonged period. Benzos can cause a tolerance issue, so after awhile, the dosage needs to be evaluated and possibly upped.

Also, have you ever been in or considered therapy? This would be an excellent appoach to dealing with not only the anxiety issues, but also in helping you to work through the confidence issues.

If it is at all a possibility, I would encourage you to look into it...or even revisit this treatment option.:)
