just a thought... I had just gotten my hormone-releasing IUD removed in August and it says it takes about 4-6 months to be back to normal afterwards, and get pregnant if you would like. Ive always had anxiety but ive noticed that its been at it's worst ever about let's say a few months after I had my IUD put in..up until I had it removed and after. Ive read that some birth control may add to anxiety and depression (including the one I had- The Mirena) because it messes with your hormones, but just wanted some opinions from other ladies who might think the same, or who maybe have been through it. Ever since I had it removed, I feel my anxiety easing up within the past couple months it has gotten better to the point that Ive come to realize that maybe it WAS the birth control. Ive been with the same guy for 10 years now we have two daughters, im 26 and still want another child or two so I think Im done with the birth control since that's the only kind Ive ever had, and don't think I liked what it did to me. Im working hard to fight anxiety/depression everyday of my life, but I honestly think that the birth control added to it since I feel I did feel my worst when I had it.
Any thoughts/opinions on this would be appreciated! Thanks!!
