I'm sorry, Ctuck.
I can definitely relate to the feeling of just waiting for the day to end. Most mornings I wake up and think, "Well, here we go again."
Is there any way you can structure your days? Like, create yourself a schedule? From what my care team has told me, a structured environment is helpful for depression. I understand that you're unemployed at the moment, but there are still useful and important things you do. Maybe you could write yourself out a schedule and then try sticking to it for a couple days to see if it helps you feel better.
I don't know your lifestyle, so I'm going to give you an example of what my schedule looked like while I was on medical leave:
5:30 a.m. - get up & cook breakfast for hubby
6:30 a.m. - take him breakfast in bed (are you married? this made me feel pretty good for a little while in the morning because it made him happy)
7:00 a.m. - shower, brush teeth, etc.
8:00 a.m. - morning show
9:00 a.m. - nap (cuz I'm lazy & 5:30 is early for me)
10:00 a.m. - productive activity (cleaning, yard work, reorganizing something)
Noon - lunch
1:00 p.m. - something fun (draw, read, computer, etc.)
2:30 p.m. - productive activity (this became crafting/making things, eventually)
4:30 p.m. - Exercise (walking, crunches, just stretching if nothing else)
5:30 p.m. - shower again, get dressed in real clothes before hubby came home
Evenings, I pretty much followed his routine.
Hope this idea helps!
