Colonoscopy Tomorrow -- Nervous

hi im new here have suffered with GAD for many years mainly related to health issues of myself an those closest to me. I have IBS for past 12years since my dad past. it was getting bad an doctor thought I should have a colonoscopy . I was beside myself with worry of the procedure. I wish I hadn't got in such a state as the doc gave me good sedation an pain relief an I didn't know anything about it. the prep was the hardest having to drink litres of that prep drink an water. anyway took biopsies all was clear an was told just IBS which is just as bad now an I have been told my anziety makes it worse. my husband had a colonoscopy last week he said the same as me. try not to worry juniepoonie goodluck

I know it's easier said than done, but don't worry. The prep is the worst part. They sedate you and you won't remember a thing. One minute they're talking to you and getting you ready and the next thing you know, you wake up and it's done.
