Colonoscopy prep tomorrow - don't wanna do it!!!! ugh

haha i'm being a big baby but i really don't. i'm afraid of the stomach pain, sweating, etc.

i'm supposed to take 4 dulcolax before my 64 ounces of miralax - it sounds like too much. ha

i took one dulcolax years ago and it made me feel horrible - but i'm eating very lightly today so hopefully i will be fine. back then when i took, i'm sure i did because i was having issues. i'm also supposed to take milk of magnesia twice today but not gonna do it cause i'm having female issues and it makes my stomach upset anyway. lawrdy!!!!

anyone been through this and have any advice???

ok kitt if you say so!! ha eek i just remember sweating and feeling fluish when i took it years ago. i've lost 7 pounds lately though for eating better and less. : )

thanks guys not doing the best I woke up in the middle of my back is killing me so that's not helping still having a little anxiety over stomach cramping I anticipate only because I'm hoping it won't make PVC's worse I might start taking co q10 today maybe that'll help I don't know how long it takes to get in your system

Thinking of you this morning and knowing by this evening you will be at home and your scope will be history.  Just make it through the day one step at a time.

You will need the glucose to keep your energy up and combat any weakness/shakiness...do not worry about it. You are not going to have excess sugar in your system...it will all be put to use.:)

yeah worried for nothing so far. hasn't been that bad.

i only 2 dulcolax though - hope that will be enough. from my research online some surgeons only require the miralax and no dulcolax at all. i feel fine so far - just tired and hungry. my stomach hasn't completely "let go" like i thought it might. another thing - it said to mix the entire bottle of miralax with 64 ounces of gatorade.

i have been mixing with diff things - each cup but have mixed 8 doses and finished. however, the bottle says 14 doses if mixed separately. i have mixed 8 so still some miralax in bottle. ugh wonder if it will be enough. the nurse said just make sure you drink all 64 ounces of fluid. didn't address the 14 doses in the bottle. oh well.

ok the prep nor the test were bad at all. i love my doc. he is so down to earth and sweet.

i woke up a few times last night to go the bathroom and didn't sleep the best but piece of cake. i worried for nothing. :P

I am so happy that it all went well, and that you are feeling well. It is a good feeling to get that done and over with! :)
