SMU,
...remind me, did you see an ENT? I remember you posting on this concern awhile ago, but I can't recall if you saw a specialist, or just your PCP.
If you have not seen an ENT, you may want to get a consult, just for peace of mind.
I know that lymph nodes can stay swollen for weeks after the virus, bacteria or even allergy has passed.
If you are having prolonged issues with your throat and lymph nodes, then you may want to rule out the possibility allergies, which can also lead to swollen lymph nodes.
I even have had swollen glands from a canker sore in my mouth...and even a reaction to a hair coloring product, which make the node behind my ear swollen for over 6 weeks!
I hope that you get the answers that you need soon. Try not to worry about it until you can be seen. It is most suredly going to be something of a benign nature.:)
